Who are we?
Hilmi Konde & Co., CPAs provides audit, tax and business consultancy services to local and international clients in North Cyprus. Our staff consists of six professionals with university degrees and many years of experience in tax and auditing.
Owner Hilmi Konde graduated from McDaniel College (USA) with a double major in Economics and Business Administration and an MBA in Accounting from the University of Texas. He is a US Certified Public Accountant registered and licensed in the State of Maryland since 1999. He worked at PwC Istanbul and PwC Cyprus offices between 2000-2004. He participated in the audits of Turkey’s leading Koç, Sabancı, Doğan, Eczacıbaşı and Turkcell Group companies at the PwC Istanbul office. In the PwC Cyprus office, he took part in the audits of companies with headquarters in Belgium and Egypt. He is also a member of the Cyprus Institute of Chartered Accountants and the American Institute of Chartered Accountants. He has deep knowledge and experience of US GAAP, IFRS and local income tax laws.
Our customers
Some of our well-known international clients are Zurich Insurance (Turkey) and AIG Insurance (now Gulf Insurance) in Northern Cyprus. The firm also provided tax consultancy services to British American Tobacco (Turkey) regarding the possible acquisition of a local tobacco manufacturing company in Northern Cyprus. We are the preferred service provider for PwC and Deloitte Turkey’s projects in Northern Cyprus.
